NCACH adopts new mission statement

After many months of discussion and strategic planning, NCACH’s Governing Board adopted a new mission statement for the organization at their October 5 Board meeting. The new statement comes as the organization approaches the final year of the Medicaid Transformation, and looks ahead to the future.The new mission of the North Central Accountable Community of Health is to Advance whole-person health and health equity in North Central Washington by unifying stakeholders, supporting collaboration, and driving systemic change, with particular attention to the social determinants of health.Following the approval of the mission statement, Board Chair, Blake Edwards, thanked the Board and staff for the months of work that went into developing the new mission statement.NCACH Executive Director, Linda Evans Parlette, says of the passage of the new statement, “While pausing all of NCACH’s work due to COVID earlier this year certainly slowed our strategic planning work, it is gratifying to finally have a mission statement that is forward-thinking and represents the work of all of our Board and staff.”
