Updates to the Governing Board, Public Hospital Seat 2
NCACH Governing Board Member, Kevin Abel, CEO of Lake Chelan Community Hospital, has announced his resignation from the Board, effective March 5, 2018.A founding Board Member, Kevin most recently served as the Vice-Chair of the Board, and was instrumental to the formation of the NCACH governance structure.

Recalling his tenure with the Board, Kevin remarked that "being a part of the team that developed the Board structure from scratch" was one of his proudest accomplishments. Kevin will be relocating to Whitefish, Montana, to serve as the CEO of the North Valley Hospital. We thank you, Kevin, for your contributions to the NCACH, and to the community. We will miss you, and know that you will make just as important an impact in your new role. Thank you for your service! Kevin's seat as the Public Hospital 2 sector representative will be filled by newest Board Member elect, Scott Graham, from Three Rivers Hospital.The current CEO of Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster, Scott will begin his role as a Governing Board member in March, after being elected in February to fill Public Hospital Seat 2.

"Scott Graham was born and raised in a rural area in eastern Utah, and also spent two years in El Salvador, where he learned Spanish. He graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1986. He then earned a master’s degree in psychology from Eastern Washington University in 1989. For 15 years, he worked as a mental health professional at Sacred Heart Medical Center and later at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute in Spokane. In 2000, Scott began his career in administration at St. Luke’s and eventually became Chief Operating Officer in 2008. In 2009 he was recruited to work at Coulee Medical Center, first as the Chief Operations Officer and then as Chief Executive Officer in 2010. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at Three Rivers Hospital where he has worked since 2014."Scott has served as president of the Association of Washington Public Hospital Districts and is active in the Washington State Hospital Association, having served as a member of its board of trustees and as the Columbia Basin Council President. He is currently the North Central Washington Hospital Council chair and is a member of the WSHA Rural Hospital Committee. Married for 37 years to his wife, Carlleen, and they are the proud parents of three daughters and two grandchildren, all of whom live and work in Spokane." Welcome aboard.
